| Choice of university and program |
Select your top choice of university from the first drop-down list. Then choose your subject preference from the second drop-down list of available majors. If you are unsure which undergraduate major you want to study, choose the one which matches your interests most closely. You can change your major after you start your degree program. You can choose a preparation program from a third drop-down list. Information about the Foundation or Pre-Master's programs will automatically appear if they are available. Repeat this process for up to three university and majors, in order of preference. Note: you must submit an essay to support your application. Your essay should be at least 300 words, introducing yourself to your new university community. You will see further details about the essay when you submit your application form. |

Choose 'Yes' to apply for conditional acceptance through an on-campus ESL program. You must meet all the university's other entry requirements, but if you do not meet the English Language requirement you can first join an ESL program. |

Section 2 - student details

| Do you have a valid I-20 from another US university? |
An I-20 is an immigration document given to international students when they enroll at a US university. If you are already studying in the US, you may not need a new I-20. You will be required to send us a copy of your current I-20. |
Section 3 - parent/guardian details
You must provide contact details for a parent or legal guardian, if:
- you are under 18 years old when you apply for university in the USA.
- your parent/guardian is paying your university fees.
Note: you must given us your parent/guardian contact details in English.
Section 4 - emergency contact
Please provide details, in English, of the person who can be contacted in the case of an emergency.
If your emergency contact details are the same as your parent/guardian contact details, you can write 'As parent/guardian' in the first box.
Section 5 - criminal and disciplinary record
If you answer 'yes' to either question about your criminal and disciplinary record, you must submit a full statement of relevant facts, including the approximate date of the incident(s) to us:

Section 6 - financial information and agreement

| What is the maximum amount of funds that will be available to you, per year, for your studies and all living expenses? |
Tell us how much money you will have each year, not including your round-trip air fare. In order to obtain your student visa, you will be required to present financial documentation to the US Consular Office in your country to prove that you have enough money available to you to support at least one full year of academic study as well as personal expenses. You will also need to send us a copy of a bank statement or formal statement of support indicating adequate funds. |

Section 7 - educational history
Undergraduate applicants MUST send us an official transcript for their final 3 years at High School with their supporting documentation. Graduate applicants MUST send us all previous university transcripts.

| Name of High School Graduation Certificate | Please state the name of the qualification you were awarded when you completed High School or Secondary School in your country, i.e. the equivalent of a High School Diploma in the USA. Examples include the International Baccalaureate, the Hong Kong Certificate of Education, Senior High 2 in China, ATTESTAT in Russia and the Tawjihi in Saudi Arabia. |
| Current or most recent Grade Point Average | Grade Point Average (GPA) is used in the American education system to indicate the level of a students' academic success. An average score is calculated on a scale of 0-4, with 0 being a fail and 4 being the maximum academic achievement. Use World Education Services' free grade conversion guide to compare the grading systems in your country with the American GPA system, and enter your GPA equivalent into the box. |
| Post-High School or University education | If you are applying for a (post)graduate degree, or for transfer to an undergraduate degree from a university outside the USA, please give details of your education since High School. |
Section 8 - standardized testing
This section is optional. You should only complete it if you have taken any of the tests below:

| TOEFL |
A minimum score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is the most common language requirement for American universities. However, if you apply through an on-campus ESL program or through our Foundation Diploma or Pre-Master's program, you may not need an official TOEFL score. Instead you will be asked to complete the Study Group English Language Test before arrival to determine your English proficiency. |
| IELTS |
If you have a certificate from an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam, most US universities will accept the equivalent score as proof of your English language ability. |
| GMAT |
Some of the universities we work with require graduate applicants to take the GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) to qualify for business Master's programs. |
| GRE | Some of the universities we work with require graduate applicants to take the GRE (Graduate Record Examination) to qualify for non-Business Master's programs. |
